If I have 12 units daisy chain connected to an NCP already using just the Sbus wires(lennox L connection) Do i need to buy 12 of this controllers for each unit or I can use what already have and just plug and play replacing the NCP?
The sylk bus is not the same as the Lennox L bus. The L bus would be RS-485 serial connection which is more like Bacnet which is what the Bacnet Spyder uses to communicate so yes you can just reuse the Lennox L bus wires for your Bacnet Communication assuming that there are no other Lennox Devices on the wire that will interfere with your system communications as the cable can only carry and serve one network language and assuming that whoever installed the Lennox L network did a good job doing so, one thing to consider there is that Bacnet communicates much faster than traditional older networks, for example 9600 Baud vs 76800 Baud. I've had some older networks that just went to crap when trying to run at the higher speeds.
